The Student Representative Council (SRC) play an important role in prompting student action at Vineyard. Classes from Foundation through to Year 7 elect one boy and one girl to serve on the SRC for a semester.

The SRC meet once a fortnight and these meetings are a time to discuss various happenings around the school with the aim of proposing proactive solutions and suggesting resolutions to problems to promote a positive school community.

Through whole school events organised by the SRC, and combined with chapel offerings, a lot of money is raised for people in need. These include organisations such as Lutheran Community Care and Australian Lutheran World Service. The SRC do a wonderful job in helping to organise and run these events, and this is an example of service for the school community.
