There are several steps
involved in the enrolment of a student at Vineyard
Lutheran School. These steps are important for
us as an educational centre to ensure that all
the needs of each student are identified prior
to enrolment. This enables us to be confident
that the school can cater for the students spiritually,
socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
In order to do this, each step of the enrolment
process needs to be handled carefully, ensuring
that all information about each student is gathered
and interpreted. Therefore any decisions made
about or on behalf of a student, are informed
decisions made in consultation with parents, teachers
and any other specialists whether they be medical,
behavioural or other.
It is important to note that after all relevant
information has been considered, the principal
may decide that the school is unable to meet the
basic educational needs of the child and then
enrolment can be denied. This is not intended
to offend any applicants and their families, but
the decision to deny enrolment will only be made
with the educational interest of the child as
the priority.
The following flow chart is designed to keep you
informed of this process and the individual steps
involved.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding
this process please contact the school or fill
out the Expression of Interest form on the Contact
Us Page, and
we will be more than happy to help you.
